WHY A SHORT-TERM MISSIONS TRIP?

A short-term mission trip is usually all it takes to completely change one’s life and to ignite a passion for reaching the world for Christ! When an individual from the U.S goes to another country, lives with the people, and eats their food, something happens in the person’s heart. He sees his personal call to be involved in the lives of those around the world and develops a bond and passion for the people he was sent to serve.

If you take a mission trip with MCM, you would have the opportunity to share Jesus with individuals and get personally engaged in ministry on the mission field. A trip with MCM is not designed as a tourist trip. We join alongside an ongoing ministry led by a local, national missionary and assist the missionaries in evangelism, discipleship and ministry.

MCM Mission Trip Participants Can…

  • Return home with a renewed zeal for missions and evangelism in their places of influence

  • Clarify God’s call and purpose in their lives in regard to missions

  • Explore the possibility of missions as a vocational calling

  • Support local ministry partners in Cuba, Uganda, and Romania

CUBA TRIPS

Cuba is located just 90 miles off the coast of Florida. MCM is able to obtain religious visas from the Cuban government, which gives us legal permission to do mission work, witness, and preach in the churches while we visit in the home of our ministry partners while working in Cuba. Even though Cuba is a communist country, religious activities are allowed in Cuba, but are closely monitored by the government. God is at work in Cuba. New churches are springing up in homes across the island and people are hungry to hear the Gospel and thousands are turning to Christ for their salvation.

MCM’s mission trip work in Cuba is focused on three areas:

  • Teaching in Bible Institutes to train laymen to plant and lead new house churches.

  • Working with Cuban pastors in their church field – preaching, encouraging, witnessing, and discipling.

  • Establishing a covenant partnership with a Cuban pastor and his church
